To bridge XMR into your own Sepolia wallet, send native Monero through ZeroFi’s deposit flow and receive zXMR at the connected Ethereum address after confirmation. ZeroFi’s interface lists a 0.01 XMR minimum and routes the wrapped token to Sepolia, Ethereum’s application-development testnet. The XMR is real mainnet coin; zXMR is an ERC-20 representation on a test network.

What does bridging XMR to Sepolia do?

It moves XMR into the bridge’s Monero-side custody arrangement and issues zXMR on Sepolia for the EVM wallet you connect. ZeroFi describes its bridge as using a network of nodes and collective multisignature wallets to process deposits and withdrawals.

That distinction matters: Sepolia ETH and tokens there are for testing, not ordinary payments or investments. For a wider look at possible DeFi uses, the three destination cases in zerofi explain the kinds of applications the paragraph only touches on.

How do you deposit XMR to your own Sepolia wallet?

Connect an EVM wallet you control, switch it to Ethereum Sepolia, and use the bridge’s Deposit flow to direct zXMR to that wallet. Ethereum documentation says Sepolia is for application testing, and its test ETH is generally obtained from faucets to pay transaction fees.

  • Create or select a wallet for testing, switch its network to Sepolia, and obtain a small amount of Sepolia ETH for gas.
  • Open ZeroFi’s bridge, connect that wallet, choose XMR as the source and Sepolia as the destination, then enter an amount at or above the displayed 0.01 XMR minimum.
  • Copy the deposit address the bridge generates and send XMR to it from your Monero wallet. Check the address and amount before confirming the Monero transaction.
  • Wait for the bridge’s confirmation process, then complete the mint step if the interface requests it. Check the Sepolia wallet for zXMR; add the token using the contract address shown by the bridge if it does not appear automatically.

ZeroFi lists 10 source-chain confirmations for deposits and payouts, plus 10 sweep confirmations. These waits let the bridge process Monero transactions; a submitted deposit may not appear in the EVM wallet immediately.

What should you check before bridging?

Use a wallet you control and verify the destination network and address in the wallet prompt. Sepolia balances and activity are separate from Ethereum mainnet, so zXMR received there is for testing and cannot be treated as mainnet XMR.

ZeroFi labels its bridge interface v0.1 and lists the contract and zXMR token addresses there; compare those addresses with the live interface before signing. Keep the first transfer small: the protocol’s testnet status means a delay or failed transaction may require support or may not be recoverable.

To return XMR, use the bridge’s Withdraw flow and provide a Monero address you control. The practical trade-off is clear: zXMR lets a Sepolia application test an XMR-linked token, while the bridge adds confirmation delays and operational risk that a direct XMR wallet transfer does not have.
